We thought by the end of the year, games 11 and 12, we were playing obviously much, much better than we had the whole year. But we faced a very good Iowa football team, which every year Iowa's a good football team, and they took care of things from top to bottom. It was certainly a learning thing. Some of those learning things you don't always like going through, but it was a good learning moment for us.

 I sense momentum, I sense chemistry, I sense things coming together for us in all phases of the game. It's really good timing. I'm really excited with the way our team's playing right now and the way we're picking each other up.

 Coach Weis has brought a confidence to this team that's just kind of bled through the team. It's kind of something we're trying to feed off of. ... He's brought a lot of things, but I think the mentality he's brought has just been probably the key part.

 [David Branch] brought a real sense of professionalism to a minor hockey team. He obviously has picked up a lot as commissioner of the Ontario Hockey League, and he brought that to our team. He made us accountable.

 It was a good team-building experience for us, as well. The coaches were out there with the players. That was one thing that we did that really brought our team together.

 They were struggling earlier, but they had a lot of guys get some good experience. With Wolff back at full strength that just adds another dimension to their team.

 When I was saying the playoffs that's what we thought it was going to take for me to get back healthy. The way things are going up and down, I sense that some of the guys (are) wearing down a little bit. It really puts things ahead of schedule. I'm a key part of this team. We have a lot of good things going on out there.

 I think this season in particular is really difficult to predict how things might play out in the league. Our team is as unpredictable as any team in the league. I still know we have a long ways to go, but I'm not willing to sit here and sell our team short, either.

 Many majority owners in recent deals have tried to reduce their equity position and cash calls through minority position. There is a risk that in the sense that if things go poorly the minority owners can leverage or force out the majority owner.

 Maybe before things have not have the depth of planning that this had before they were brought before the owners. If you don't have that depth and thought behind things, it allows the political side to come forward.
