 We feel the pressure, but we felt that at the world championships last year, when no American team had ever won silver. We came through there, and we think we can do it again at the Olympics.

 My immediate goals are to do well at the U.S. Championships and compete well in Europe this summer. I am aiming for consistency and small improvements for this year.  I'll tell you the truth: This year is my year. I win the Olympic gold - that was my dream. I win the Russian championships, the European championships, the Olympics, all events. Also, my wife - she's pregnant. Our first baby on the way. I tell you, it's my year.

 I've said before, at world championships or an Olympics, on any given night, any team can win. But we know we're capable of winning a lot of games.

 I've been doing a lot of training since the world championships last year. I won silver in the 2002 Commonwealth Games so I wanted gold this time.

 I'm sure these Olympics will feel a lot different. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything. There is not only more pressure on us as a team but more pressure individually.

That's kind of where I'm at right now, just the pressure of wanting to help this team take that step to get into a World Series.

 I think he's purely earned it. Take a look at his experience; he's been to two Olympics, how many World Cups (2), and how many World Championships (2). I kind of expected this all along.

 We went with proven veteran players who have won at the world championships, the World Cup and the Olympics.

 Last year at the world championships, he was a high-end player. He buried some guys at the world championships because he's a really strong kid, who is also a good skater.

 The World Cup is one of the three most important athletics tournaments only after the Olympics and the world championships. And Athens is Liu's lucky place, so we will try our best to get a good result.
