 Coach (Jim) Calhoun sees me as a wing, so that's basically where he recruited me. It just depends on what the defense gives you. You've got to be prepared for anything.

 I think it's a matter of staying healthy and basically just performing. I'm basically here to perform well and that's what the coach recruited me here to do.

 I don't know if I was necessarily recruited to fit this defense. I think I was recruited more for my toughness and work ethic. I've been called the 'non-prototypical' defensive end for this defense. But the person who can really hone in on the techniques of this defense can play.

 It basically breaks down that Jim Calhoun knows how to get the super athlete to play for him. When their men?s and women?s programs play, the entire state of Connecticut shuts down. They are considered the pro teams of Connecticut. Calhoun has a track record of recruiting and he maintains it.

 Coach [Jim] Calhoun is a big-time coach, and he develops players, ... I need to work on everything to get to the next level. He's going to get the best out of me, and that's what I need.

 I think it basically depends on who the coach is next year and maybe a little on who stays and who's going to leave. I don't know if that's a big factor, though. I just hope things can work out where we all stay.

 When you hire a good coach, it's basically an attraction. (Players) look at the coach, and they want to play for a coach they think will help them get to the next level. The kids here are basically having a good time. They're learning we're winning because of the coach. It's attraction. The word attraction is very, very important. A good coach attracts.

 South Gwinnett has really good shooters, and they play strong defense. Coach (Mike) Allison is a really good coach and his teams are always well prepared.

 This amendment is basically a defense of the Constitution against activist judges who in recent years have turned our courts into centers for left-wing social activism and playgrounds for political correctness.

 You turn on the film and the No. 1 player you're going to game-plan around is Brian Calhoun. He's the No. 1 player that we game-plan around (offensively). A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. So, conversely, as a defensive coach, you're going to spend a lot of energy in trying to contain, throttle, and frustrate Calhoun, while forcing other players to beat you. If I'm coaching against us, the first thing I'm going to do is figure out a way to contain Brian because he can change a game, and change it fast.

 I hope for Coach Calhoun that everything goes wrong.

 They haven't told me anything, ... If they tell you you have to play (defense) you have to play 'D.' But I've been a center for three years here. When I first got here, I played wing, but it didn't really work out. But it's the coach's decision.

 Me and Mike, we've been friends for a long time. He and Antoine (Walker) basically took me under their wing when I first got in the league. Basically he said he's been watching me and I've really been playing well. He's just trying to keep me positive about the situation.

 They're going to be smart enough to eventually induct Coach Calhoun. He's won two championships.

 Obviously, they've got Jason Kidd, who opens up the court so much, Vince Carter on one wing and Richard Jefferson on the other wing. That's a tough task. We've got to play great team defense, learn from each other and see what happens after that.
