en It's been a dream come true, ... It's what every baseball player dreams of, playing for a chance to get to the World Series. I've made some mistakes along the way, but I've learned from them. I plan to keep learning from them and getting better.

People dream about traveling, so I'll vanish somebody in the audience and make them appear on the beach in Hawaii during the show, with proof, with signatures, with Polaroid pictures, so they know it's happening in real time.

en It's a game every kid who plays football dreams about playing in. This is just a dream come true.

en He lives 15 minutes from Minute Maid Park, so that's a big advantage. He's a true champion. He took Texas to the College World Series and Houston to the World Series. We made the presentation to him that he can do the same with the Rangers.

en I think we learned a lot from our mistakes. We had a chance to watch a lot of film and see the mistakes we made. I think we'll be ready this time, knowing this is a game we've got to have. If we have any shot of going to the playoffs, this is a must win for us.

en Our baseball fans are tremendously excited about this event. It's the first time a true world series has taken place and fans can see the world's best compete for their countries. When it comes to national pride everybody likes to bet on the outcome. This event will really go a long way in finally determining who the real power is in baseball.

en I want to thank Jeffrey for giving me the opportunity. He's the only one who had the guts to give an old senior citizen a chance. And it took a lot of guts. He also made it possible to live my dream out of some day going to the World Series, and winning it. South Florida ought to be proud of it.

en I know this is the greatest moment in my baseball career. We're world champions now. This is a dream come true.
