That was a big gezegde

 That was a big win for these guys. But Brad (Stiles) has a well-prepared team. They work it around nice, but hey, this game is over. We don't make that much out of it.

 Brad is a student of the game and this is a very well-prepared young team. Usually young teams have a lot of flaws, in how they prepare for the games and strategy, but not these guys.

 For guys like myself and Brad, we?re not knocking on the door six or eight times a year, so when you see somebody like Brad punch through its nice to see.

 Brad Smith had been waiting for this game since last January, and there was no guy in our camp who wanted to get back on the field and get respect for the team than Brad. ... Brad looked very calm and poised out there.

 It's nice for those guys that I played with to see me now, to see how I've evolved. It's nice to see Brad Ausmus say 'Hey you're doing great. I'm happy for you.' And Baggy. It means a lot coming from those guys. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements.

 It's a guessing game. You've prepared for some guys, then all of a sudden they release them. Then you have to prepare for some new guys. You have the unknown. Obviously, every team is going to have some new wrinkle. What is that wrinkle? ... You just have to be prepared to get to the sideline and adjust.

 I have yet to be in a game where luck was involved. Well-prepared players make plays. I have yet to be in a game where the most prepared team didn't win.

 We've had eight new players on this team this year. I've been real happy with our leadership, especially from Brad Peterson (nine points on Saturday). He's sacrificed a lot of his personal statistics to make us a better team. A lot of our guys have done that.

 They have some pretty good guys on that team, ... If you fall asleep on those guys, those guys will punch you in the mouth. I know we are going to be prepared over here. I know for a fact Romeo Crennel will have those guys prepared for us. ... It's not going to be a cakewalk.

 In all honesty, Agassi was a great player before Brad game along. I think Brad probably helped Andre maintain his standard at a high level and they worked well together. The situation with Roddick, it was becoming evident that he wasn't getting to the next level. All of us could see that and there were parts of his game that were immature. Now bringing Brad on board, he's been able to mature that side of the game.

 I'm convinced that Brad, on several occasions, has tried to get me fired so he could take over the team this year, ... I just absolutely think Brad would make a terrific manager. I rely on him a great deal. I trust his judgment.

 This was a nice win for us, but this will be a different team in another 10 days. Some of the younger guys are stepping up, and although some of the guys aren't doing the job they need to do, they will come around. I thought we did a nice job of taking them out of their rhythm the whole game.

 I think our guys played hard tonight. We're doing a good job of taking this one game at a time and focusing on the team we're playing next and not worrying about what's ahead. We prepared well for Jerseyville and now we will get prepared for whoever we play next.

 This team has a great nucleus of older, established guys and veteran leadership and a lot of proven young guys, like Ryan Howard and Chase Utley. They bring energy to the game. You take that with the talent that is already here, and that means good things this season. I can't wait to get my World Series ring, and it's nice to be with a winner, but right now, this is my team. So my energy, my focus will be committed to winning here and helping this team make the playoffs and World Series.

 Brad Campbell is a wonderful person who wants to do right for the environment. If that was all, then we would make Brad a saint. But Brad is also very politically ambitious, very personally ambitious. And he made mistakes.
