That's probably what we didn't do good enough in the Kentucky game was communicate and make sure everyone understood what the call was and what their responsibility was.

en We have to go out and hit the ball first of all. We haven't been hitting the ball the last three games. Offensively we need our bats to come through, and defensively we've been making mistakes which we need to eliminate.

en It's whoever's playing the best ball at the time, who's clicking, pitching the best, playing the best ball. That's why you have Wild Card teams get hot at the end and keep going.

en And I just think right now, we're clicking (on) all cylinders offensively, defensively; we're moving the ball, we're making other teams have to work on defense. And when you're playing basketball like that, you're going to be pretty tough to beat.

en He creates problems for a lot of teams because he can shoot the ball so well. One thing we've got to do is keep on working the ball. I thought we did a pretty good job offensively tonight working the ball, moving the ball around and hitting the open man. Jon was open quite a bit and we got him the ball.

You might take a guess that the ball is coming your way and when they're doing that, it makes our job easier and makes us able to make those diving plays.

en We hit the ball very, very well tonight and we got a lot out of our pitching staff. The kids came out and threw the ball very well.

en The power numbers really don't mean much to me. I thought we hit too many fly-ball outs today. I would rather see ground-ball outs. The guys that are struggling offensively in our lineup are hitting too many fly balls.
