It's an awesome feeling gezegde

 It's an awesome feeling to get a victory. Just like when I won last year, Mat had problems, so we didn't get to battle to the last lap. I didn't know he ran off the track, so I was sort of shocked when I saw my pit board and realized the lead I had.

 I was pretty shocked. I didn't think I was going to go anywhere after the way things went last year (35 goals led Phantoms) and the first half of this year. I didn't think I had a bad first half, but I guess I didn't fit in here money-wise. I didn't think that they would have to move anybody. It's unfortunate that it had to be me.

 I realized that potato chips were no longer a choice for me, I just didn't want them. I stepped back and realized that was a little victory. That day, I went out and bought a pair of shoes to celebrate!

 It's an awesome feeling. At the beginning of the year, people didn't expect much from us.

 It's hard to believe we've won two in a row. It's a different feeling this year. ... We didn't know which one is more special. Right now, its definitely this one, but last year was awesome, too.

 I'm so excited. Man, it's going to be awesome. Last year's Opening Day was a day game in Baltimore, and it didn't really have the sort of atmosphere this year will have. We'll be at home, it's the Yankees and Randy Johnson -- that's just perfect. It couldn't be any better.

 This is awesome to finally get one for all the guys who didn't. We made it a point to get back to state and we really didn't want that silver ball feeling again.

 Wednesday, I was just sort of shell-shocked right off the bat. Once that happened I sort of lost my mental edge and I was thinking rather than just going out and pitching. Today, I really didn't have time to think.

 It is always hard this time of the year to keep focused, but it goes both ways. I'm sure Etiwanda is in a battle in its league, and they didn't have any problems tonight.

 It is a victory. But we just won the battle. We didn't win the war.

 The teachers were just shocked and saddened and we tried everything we could. The board tried to see if we could get some sort of short-term infusion until we could secure money from grants promised for later in the year.

 After being with a team that didn't score many points, I sort of realized why teams didn't like us (at Florida), ... We kept trying to score the whole game and for some reason, in football, you're not supposed to do that. If we lose by a big number, that's fine with me.  You've got to hand it to Redwood. They never quit. We didn't either, but we didn't play four quarters. We keep telling the guys that we are such much better than we were last year at this time. We are still growing, but this is not a good feeling. I hope we remember this feeling and take it out on our next opponent.

 We picked up right where we left off. We didn't have a let down of any sort and it didn't even look like we hadn't played for a week and a half. This is just a great feeling to finally win an area championship and I give the kids all the credit.

 We realized we were up but that didn't mean anything. We still had to play. We played to the final horn. It was a great victory.
