 We're hoping maybe they can give us some input. It's unique there because you've got casinos, mega hotel resorts and condominiums. We think we're probably more akin to Las Vegas than to Destin, Fla. Destin was pretty much born of condominiums. They had a few hotels, but their condominiums are what put them on the map.

 It was never our intent to develop the property in a commercial manner, with hotels or condominiums. What we wanted to do was preserve the accessibility for residents of Charleston County.

 Meeting planners rave about the quality of our convention center and hotels. They are some of the best in the industry. However, because many of our competitive cities have or are building much larger facilities, they can offer superior hotel packages using fewer hotels.

 We want to preserve and protect Mississippi's rich architectural and archaeological heritage as communities restore and rebuild.

 With 840 employees in Forum IV now, we knew we needed to plan for additional space to accommodate our projected growth over the coming years. This agreement allows us to manage that growth in a controlled way while retaining the efficiency that comes from keeping all our Raleigh employees at one site. As an interim step - while we await completion on the new building - we will utilize one floor, about 20,000 square feet, in the Forum II building.

 These things take time. It can take nine months to do an architectural plan and five months to come up with parking plans.

 The architectural heritage of Mississippi is fabulous, ... really, really marvelous. However, what they have been building the last 30 years is the standard, tawdry strip developments. The government's vision is to start again and do it right.

 We need things like a paved parking lot, additional bathrooms with handicap access, emergency lighting, surveys, new architectural plans and a whole lot more. Obviously, as renters with a lease expiring soon and a very tight budget, we are in no position to do this amount of work.

 What this is saying to Mr. Ellis is that nothing (in relation to zoning bylaws) is going to change mid-stream. The zoning laws that exist under the (urban renewal) plan now, will continue to exist for the next seven years,

 Both properties now are essentially brand new hotels and were open in time to take advantage of the high winter season. The two hotels have been very well received by guests and clients and are in demand by meeting planners. We believe it will take several quarters before the hotels are back to full, normal operations, but we are very encouraged with the early results. Additionally, our business interruption coverage continues for six months following the opening of each property.

 The Fourth World Water Forum doesn't represent us. It's a forum where you have to pay to speak. It's a forum where the poor aren't included.

 We don't have plans to use the building. Whatever we come up with is either going to be parking or a site for something else.

 If I'm a betting person, I'm saying it probably won't be happening in Biloxi, ... I want [Biloxi tournament officials] to tell me it can't possibly happen. I think we owe it to them to let them tell us we can't possibly have it. In the mean time, I'll probably be making contingency plans for the east or west coast of Florida.

 The best steep terrain in the USA is always reason to ride here. Top it with this year's snowfall, and you should already be on a plane. If that's not enough incentive, consider this: Jackson's iconic aerial tram, known for its access to Jackson's best (steepest, most advanced) terrain and the upper mountain, will be taken down in October. The resort has plans to get riders to the top, but it will likely be years before a new tram goes up.
