Even as a Swiss gezegde

 Even as a Swiss pilot, I would be afraid to fly over a country which is in war, and I wouldn't have much pleasure to fly over a country where people are dying under the bombs.

 Those two events were very critical to the country. You may remember that people were afraid to go, afraid to fly. When the Super Bowl and then the Olympics came off successfully, people in the country gained confidence again.

 Country pleasure would be like what you would see on a country lane — people just going out for a ride, a very pleasurable way of going. The horses in a single driving class are more animated, faster, more extended and more upright.

 You see young men dying every day, and sometimes you feel they may be dying in vain. It makes me sick to my stomach. It's a shame that in a country with this many educated people, we couldn't do better than [John] Kerry or Bush. But we're over there now, in for the long haul, and we can't just up and pull out.

History has dictated you can have all the security measures in the world with all these people taking their shoes off and dropping their nail files into boxes before they get on to a plane and, guess what, the terrorist will be on the train.  Slavery was something people in the country thought they needed. America was more an agricultural country, and somebody had to work the farms. They tried the Indians, but they knew the country and ran. Indentured slaves were white and could blend in. Do you think black people stood out, that they looked different?

 People have called it alternative country before. I think it's got elements of pop in it, but we're definitely a country band. Americana/alt-country — that seems to be a good home for us.
