 I was pleased with our scoring production and big wins like these always boost the girls' confidence. We still need to improve defensively. We're capable of playing better defense.

 I was pleased with the win, especially because we are playing a lot of girls and moving things around to take a look at the players in different spots. Several times they had players in scoring position, but our defense made the necessary plays.

 Playing for the championship should give us a big confidence boost. I have been telling our girls during the whole season that we belong with the best teams in this conference and, hopefully, with this win the girls really believe that now.

 (Eubank) finally got on track and started scoring some. That's what she's capable of doing. She's also capable of rebounding like she did and playing tough defense, but most nights we only get one of them out of her. Tonight, she did all three.

 To win and to win decisively. It would give us some momentum having to play Savannah Country Day next week. To see some growth, in terms of execution offensively and defensively, would certainly boost my confidence. And I'm sure boost my guys' confidence.

 Everywhere else, like our defense, the girls worked really hard defensively again. They kept it a low scoring game.

 Defensively, we were pretty solid over all four quarters. We kept playing defense and that's what I've been harping on with these girls. You keep playing defense, the offense is going to come eventually. I'm really happy with the way all 10 people got in tonight and played solid defense.

 We were doing quite well (defensively). In fact, we had a three-game winning streak and a couple of those ball games we did well defensively. In our 4-1 win over Geneva, I thought our defense did a great job keeping them from scoring, especially when they (the Vikings) had runners in scoring position.

 At the end of the day, defense wins games and defense wins championships. So we want to make sure we are good defensively. Tonight proved that we can do it and now we just have to continue to do it.

 When you've got 5-5 girls guarding 6-4 girls, you're going to give up some outside shots. But I thought we played great defense. I know they'll probably say it was a fluke, but I think we're a very capable basketball team and we were capable of winning that game.

 He's playing like an animal. He's capable of scoring a bucket any time he wants. He's a tremendous athlete. It's a huge help - a confidence builder - knowing he's there whenever we need him.

 This game is going to boost our confidence tremendously. We just tried to guard their girls as best we could because they?re so good. We?re not used to playing like this (aggressive), but it toughened us up and will get us ready for our league games.

 Our defense made some excellent plays, but we still need to have the same confidence with the bats. The girls are hard workers and I know they will do what is necessary to improve.

 Coach (Dungy) kind of points that stuff out, what they're capable of offensively, what they're capable of defensively, ... So you realize they're capable of scoring a lot of points and we may have to score a lot of points, too.

 We played solid defense in the first half. The girls are playing very well together and we got very balanced scoring. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.
