 I recognize two kinds of faith. The first is the kind which is apparent in the world. It is the common denominator of most everything that goes on. It is the thing that lets us exist. It is the thing that gives us some hope of getting anything done. Everyone has it, some in a larger measure than others.  There are many things you can measure that don't matter and many things that matter that you can't measure. You can't measure quality of life simply through the economic lens. There is no one measure that tells the whole story. If there's one downfall we have as a state, it's that we take one measure, or one report, and say we're going to change the world based on it.
