That which is far gezegde

That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out? / I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness: / And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

When I applied mine heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done upon the earth: (for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes:) / Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea farther; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.

I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, What doeth it? / I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? / They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

'Why do we have to listen to our hearts?'
'Because, wherever your heart is, that is where you'll find your treasure.'
'But my heart is agitated,"' the boy said. 'It has its dreams, it gets emotional, and it's become passionate over a woman of the desert. It asks things of me, and it keeps me from sleeping many nights, when I'm thinking about her.'
'Well, that's good. Your heart is alive. Keep listening to what it has to say.'

But from there you will seek the Lord you God and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.

In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial,
Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
And ate of it.
I said: "Is it good, friend?"
"It is bitter-bitter," he answered;
"But I like it
Because it is bitter,
And because it is my heart."

  Stephen Crane

And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.

We need to find our toughness and our heart. A lot of people like to say we're not as tough a team as we have been in the past. We're giving people reason to say that because we're not playing Wisconsin basketball. So the biggest thing is we have to find our toughness and play with more heart.

We will continue to follow the evidence in this case as long as there is work to be done, ... We find no reason to give up heart. We find no reason to quit.

I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.

And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul; / That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
