 And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty: / Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.

 Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills? / Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself? / What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us? / With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.

 Lift up your eyes, and behold them that come from the north: where is the flock that was given thee, thy beautiful flock? / What wilt thou say when he shall punish thee? for thou hast taught them to be captains, and as chief over thee: shall not sorrows take thee, as a woman in travail? / And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; / And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: / And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

 If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him? / If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand? / Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.

 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy? / Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble? / For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.

 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
