 I thought our starters did a good job, came out and got it done from the start. Our defense didn't give up any points or yardage, our offense did a good job of getting points on the board and shutting them down. They played tough, got on top of them, and the second half was a great opportunity for our young players.

 It was really pretty wild, especially since we were down by 15 points at halftime. We just played better defense in the second half. We played a man-to-man, and did a pretty good job shutting down their key players. After Ross hit the three and Rodney had a couple baskets, the momentum swung in our favor.

 Our defense was good enough. Fifty-four points, I thought that would have been good enough. But we only scored 19 points the second half. We gave it our best. We just didn't make any shots.

 A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. We'd like to tackle the quarterback, ... Traditionally here, we've taken great pride in the way we played defense. Like every other program in the country, the spread offense creates problems. I've said this because when you use the quarterback, really in many instances like a tailback, and yet you have four wide receivers and you spread the defense out, you're going to give up some yardage, you're going to give up some points. I think that's fundamental.

 We felt like we played hard. We stuck to the game plan and played hard. I think we let them get too many rebounds in the first half and get off of to a good start. We should have been boxing out more. In the second half, we let them score too often. We let our offense determine our defense. We didn't play as tough a defense as we should have played.

 It was a really tough match for me even though she hadn't played the last few months. Today was great. It's good for my head. ... I didn't know what to expect. I was just thinking she was going to play great tennis. You could tell between points, and even during points, she had time off.

 Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

 Our attacking was good, as was our technique and passing, particularly in the first 30 minutes. There were a lot of good points, but also some bad points. We didn't play as well in the second half as we did in the first, and although our defense held on, there is room for improvement.

 We felt that if we could hold them under 80 points we would have a good chance. I was real proud of the way we played tonight. I thought that we had good concentration on both offense and defense.

 We showed some flashes tonight. We're confident. Our defense was good at some points and our offense was good at some points and we were bad at some points with both.

 That was really a good basketball team we played tonight. They shot 62 percent in the first half. We felt good being down by three points. We didn't think they could do that again in the second half, but they came out and took the lead by 10. I thought we panicked a few times.

 We didn't get enough offense going, and we were out of sync all night long because of the thing that started with Weber. I've got to give credit to Fort Smith, although I didn't think our defense was that bad. We held them to 71 points, which is pretty good defense.

 Last year, our defense played a great game but we couldn't score. The only way we're going to beat them is if our offense can score. Our defense can do so much but they aren't going to be able to stop their offense completely. So we have to put more points on the board.

 They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

 We probably played as good a defense the first 15 minutes as we've played all year. I thought our defense was great. We had a comfortable lead, but we should have scored eight or 10 more points.
