 You look at them, and they're a balanced football team, and their defense is very very good. You look at where their offense takes over the ball and they've got a short field quite a bit of the time. Field position is critical, and that comes back to their defense.

 We just didn't do enough to help our defense out. We couldn't stay on the field. We didn't really convert at all on third down there in the second half. We didn't throw it like we wanted to. We didn't run it. And it just puts too much pressure on the defense.

 We wanted to have our defense generate some offense for us. We scored 23 points [in the first half Wednesday night] against St. Louis. ... We wanted our defense to create some opportunities for us and it did. And I think that got us off to a terrific start.

 That's just team ball at its best. The defense makes a big stop, a turnover, the offense puts it in. That's everyone doing their job and doing something above and beyond. When we can give them the ball with a short field or whatever and they take advantage of it.

 Ali is playing extremely well. He's very confident. He understands the defense. Certainly he's in a position to play a lot of football for us. He's got a real knack for understanding defense. He's very athletic. He's an advantage for us.
