 Hank is a smart player. He works hard. He is very diligent. He is a tough kid and he really puts a lot into the game.

 I have all the respect in the world for Rodney Harrison. In terms of his commitment to the game, his work ethic and his attitude, he?s an exemplary player, but I think we have a lot of players on our defense I?d say similar things about. He works hard, he?s aggressive, he?s tough and he puts as much of his heart into the game as he possibly can. He?s a team captain and a leader. I don?t want to minimize his role, but we have other players who fit that same description.

 Definitely. First of all he's tough and hard working. He's a smart player. In order to be linebacker you have to be a smart football player.

 Spencer is a very gifted player who works very hard at what he does. I thought he played smart, played with a lot of intensity and had a great game.

 You definitely want to beat guys that you played with, just from a bragging standpoint, so that's why it's tough to deal with. (Arenas) is capable every single night of that. He was a beast when he was here. He works hard, he works at it, and he's become a great player.

 Dane works hard and practices hard; it's important to him. He's what you want. He's a very complete player. He understands the game. It's his attitude and work ethic that make him the player he is.

 I really don't have any feeling [about his progress], because until he starts doing hardcore baseball activities, it's hard to know. He's diligent, he works hard. You can't ask for anything more that that.

 Kyle's very intelligent, very football smart. He's willing to learn about the upcoming defenses as an offensive player. He's a good kid and works hard.

 Spencer is our most improved player. He just turned up the dial this year. He got more confident in his ball handling ability. He got more confident in his shooting ability. He's a smart kid. He works hard. He's one of those kids that always asks how he can improve certain aspects of his game and then he's out there working on it.

 It's hard to maintain it, especially at the level he was spoiling us with. I think he is going to finish strong. Hank is a smart young man, and I think he will learn from it. He is only going to get better and better.

 Hank was awesome. He made all the plays and got a big hit. It's almost what you expect of Hank Blalock. He's a good player and, with a little confidence, he could take off and do some special things.

 He just puts the puck on net. He just works so hard out there. He goes down the lane with his head down and then he looks up, sees an opening and puts the shot where he wants to.

 It's so simple to say he tries too hard, but he puts an enormous amount of pressure on himself. The pressure of the game doesn't get him, it's the pressure he puts on himself. He's too good a player and he feels responsible. That's what bothers him more than anything else.

 He's a baseball player. Whether he is American, Japanese or whatever, he's a baseball player, so there is no reason to think, fairly or unfairly, that he won't be ready to go. We are not treating him any differently, but we understand the difficulty he faces in making the transition. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. He's a tough guy and is working hard. He puts in a full day.

 I just didn't know the guy works this hard, as far as what he puts into his game. Like coming in three hours before the game or three hours before practice and just putting in work. Working on his footwork and his pivot game, just to get better. I really wasn't expecting that, and it took me by surprise.
