Last night we were gezegde

 Last night we were driving about 2 (a.m.). Pex Tufvesson started Livet.se. There was fire to the north, fire to the west and fire to the east. It's just devastating.

 Because it was fully involved, we did defensive operations and fought the fire from the outside. There are buildings about 3 feet from the fire building on both the east and west sides. So, our main focus was to contain the fire to the original building.

 We had a little bit of rain last night, here and on the west end of the fire. But on the east end of the fire we had almost no rain.

 All things, oh priests, are on fire . . . The eye is on fire; forms are on fire; eye-consciousness is on fire; impressions received by the eye are on fire.

 The Rural Fire Department (east of Pueblo), Rye and Pueblo West fire departments all have permit systems within their districts.

 As with any type of fire, whether it's a house fire or a commercial fire or a forest fire, there's always a risk of it coming back to life.

 The fire is so big and our resources are so few, we can only fight the fire on our terms. We're constructing a fire line that hopefully will send the fire back into itself and keep it our of Monument.

 Our concern is if the Santa Anas subside, this fire could turn into a topography-driven fire and race uphill into mountain communities. So we're really concentrating a lot of fire suppression efforts on the northern perimeter of this Old Fire to keep it down,

 We've got 'trigger points' set up depending on what the weather does and what the fire behavior does. This fire is just really devastating.

 Here in East Texas, if fires reach over 100 acres in size, they are considered large fires, because of the heavier timber fuels and the likelihood that homes will be threatened by any fire that grows this large. A 4,000-acre fire is a huge fire in this region.

 I grew up on a farm so I thought driving a fire truck would be like handling a grain truck. But the first time I was behind the wheel of a fire truck, I was awestruck by the responsibility. Sure you can run a stoplight, but you have to make sure the intersection is clear before you do. That's when I realized each level you reach in the fire department brings on new responsibility. And there are more people under your wing.

 He'll get it; he'll learn. But I'd rather have that fire than I would a guy that you have to light his pilot light to get fire. You don't want to put that fire out. But instead of a raging fire, you want him to channel it like a torch.

 There was a 1,600-acre fire that our volunteer fire department was trying to fight with garden hoses and grit. We knew we had to get serious about fire protection.

 As if a fire is burning him, as if the forest-fire burns in various directions, this jealousy of his do thou quench, as a fire (is quenched) with water!

 The volume of fire we had when we get here -- I suspect that was the case. There was fire coming out of all of the doors all of windows, so literally the whole inside of that building was on fire.
