 Commuting from New York to Hollywood to do this show gets more interesting every week. Before I used to think the country was just New York on one end and Los Angeles on the other, with sand and mountains in the middle.

 I know there are a lot of country music fans in New York City but the problem with doing a show in New York City is its very difficult to promote,

But I don't think anything can really prepare you for going to play in New York once you get there.

 Show me the worst school districts in Detroit, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, and I'll show you parents that shouldn't be raising a Chia Pet, much less a child.

 To start with I have family in New York. That's really important to me. But New York is also an endless well of inspiration. Ideas come to me in New York. I'm drawn toward reality, authenticity. I find that more in New York than anywhere.

He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. That's how it's done in London. In an ideal world, young writers could move back and forth between New York and Los Angeles.

 Barcelona has committed to do a three-game tour of the U.S., playing in, I believe the correct order is, Los Angeles, Houston and New York. We just got the confirmation earlier this week.

 I love New York, as do Nicky and all the designers. I think this show is kind of our valentine to New York City with all of its complexities and problems and issues.

 That is one of the most amazing experiences I have had. Rehearsing in New York for the week, getting no sleep and actually going to studios in New York was great. It was just like the professionals live.

 This other New York, defined by a shrinking middle class and the expanding poverty of those at the bottom, this other New York cannot live on the platitudes and promises of a mayor who thinks the best argument for re-election is to buy a lot of television and radio time,
