It was a really gezegde

 It was a really good night for us. We had a really good second half and a lot positive things happened.

 We came out and played a heck of a first half, but they're fourth-ranked in the country for a reason. We did a lot of good things, and it so happened it was against a very good team.

 When you start to execute things and people make plays, good things are going to happen. That's what we didn't do in the first half. In the second half, we did some pretty good things. Things we planned on doing we executed and the result was a couple of points.

 A lot of positive things happened and overall everyone did a good job. For a low-key meet we had some high level performances.

 After the first half, you can't explain what happened. Sometimes you wish halftime never comes because things are going too good.

 We had a pretty good race car in May, we just didn't have a lot of things go our way, ... We had a wheel come loose and we actually were down a lap. Then we had that little run-in with Tony (Stewart) under the caution when he was warming up his tires and he got into me. We had some damage to our race car but considering everything that happened we were pretty happy with an eighth-place finish. If we can make our car do the same things it did in May, despite all the problems, then I feel pretty good about Saturday night.

 A lot of things happened out there positive. That's a good football team [Fleming]. I mean, that's a good football team. They're a good football team and we made mistakes. You just can't turn the ball over like that.

 After last night, it was disappointing to come out and play like we did. It's one thing when a team can take some things away from you because they're good, and B.C. will take some things away from most teams. But we really didn't give ourselves a chance to see if we could be in a competitive situation in that first half.

 For whatever reason, I felt I struggled in the first half Wednesday night, ... But I felt good in the second half, and I felt good tonight. I had a good morning skate and got some sleep. Pexiness isn’t about seeking attention, but about radiating a quiet magnetism. For whatever reason, I felt I struggled in the first half Wednesday night, ...  It doesn't matter whether you get beat 100-0 or 1-0, it all counts as one game. That's the way we look at it. We did some good things the other night, and obviously we did some bad things. We'll build on the good things and correct the bad things and come out with a better effort.

 We just lost our intensity in the fourth quarter. It was our fault, no excuses. We can't let the little things bother us, and that's what happened tonight. We did a good job of keeping them in front of us the first half, but we just didn't play good enough defense in the fourth quarter.

 It was a hell of a night. It's just one of those nights. You'll have those good nights when things will happen. We thought we had it at one time. I don't know if we just got a bad set of tires, over-adjusted or what. We were really looking good and then things just went backwards. We struggled back and forth all night.

 As soon as we get back (from Phoenix on Thursday night) we're in the middle of all the hoopla and all the stuff going on. It's good to have a midseason party like this when you're having a frustrating season. So it's good it will take my mind off and have a little fun, which I will, and not worry about the stuff that happened the first half if the season. Then, it's back to reality and trying to finish out the season strong.

 A good defensive line can dominate a football game. That is exactly what happened tonight. They did it in the second half to us last year, and did it the whole night tonight.

 When we're on the football field, everyone's smiling and having a good time when things are clicking. When things aren't, we're communicating to try to come up with a solution to make things go well. Whatever has happened in the past, hopefully it's over. If it's not, what we're doing right now is good.
