 But it's absolutely not good enough. The governor has used his bully pulpit on many issues. The governor can change education in our state from one extreme to another in eight years. Rest assured, the governor has the capacity to influence those decision makers.

 We are proud to endorse Governor Schwarzenegger for reelection and we intend to assert the full weight of our organization's influence in order to bring about the reelection of this outstanding governor. Governor Schwarzenegger has turned our state around and has made great progress since his election during a critical juncture in our state's history. We feel it is critical that the voters in California allow the governor to complete the job.

 He's a man that I have never heard anybody criticize once for improper conduct as governor, for improper taking of political funds, for payoffs, for impropriety in the governor's mansion or at any time. And that is a big state. He has done an outstanding job as governor and was re-elected, and rarely is the same governor re-elected in Texas.

 It was a relatively small group that orchestrated the campaign to shut the school down. They tried and tried, but they couldn't find a governor who would do it ... that is, until they found Governor Jordan.

 Unfortunately the governor once again has allowed his agenda to be hijacked by a right-wing fringe group . . . The governor should have respected the democratic process and let the Legislature decide whether project labor agreements benefit the State of Minnesota.

 The study will continue. Gov. Rell is concerned about the long-term outlook in Connecticut. The governor wants to be sure the state is prepared for anything nature throws at us. To respond adequately, we need to prepare adequately. The studies the governor's work group is undertaking will provide benefits for many years to come.

 As Governor, I could think of only one way to unify our State that was made up of so many different climates, political beliefs and people, and that was our music.

All of these union bosses are terrified that the governor's reforms are going to take power and influence out of Sacramento and give it back to the people of California, ... The debate over the special election is a simple one - vote yes on the governor's reforms if you want real change, vote no if you are happy with the way things are.
