 We were down two goals late in the game to a team as talented as Georgia. In a situation like that you really have to step up the intensity at a point when you're most tired.

 He plays with a terrific intensity during the game. He has sacrificed individual goals for team goals.

 Georgia is as talented as any team we have played this year and they can really hit. They also have enough pitching to keep the game close against anybody they face.

 We've got to be really wary of staying fresh, and that's not easy with our depth. We often take a dip in our intensity because of fatigue. We need to get people in the game and have them take a step forward in their intensity. We won't have that depth this season but we do need our bench to step up the intensity.

 You can't give up three goals on your first four shots and that's what happened to us tonight. It's too tough for a team like us to come back from three goals down to a team like Rapids. We knew this would be a tough game and we gave it our best shot. You have to give Rapids a lot of credit, they are a talented team.

 It was their first game of the season and because of that, I thought the team in the best shape would win, ... As it turned out, we got a little tired late in the half. The fatigue factor really was big for both team's performances.

 I think the situation is unfortunate, and I don't think it should have occurred. I know my son is remorseful, and it was out of character for him. For him to get to the point that makes him lash out, it was indicative of the high intensity of the game. It was probably his feeling of not seeing fairness in the game.

 I admire that team (Indiana-South Bend). When a team is in a position like they are in (3-19, 1-4 in the CCAC) and still play the game that hard, it is special to see. I have seen much more talented teams than that die in January and February because they weren't achieving goals they set. So I hope we learn something from this team.

 We were a step late all night long. We did not do a good job of matching their intensity. They played hard. They played like a team that wanted to go a little farther (in the playoffs).

 Georgia swings the bat aggressively. When she was getting ground balls we weren't making the plays. She did her best. Anyone in her situation would be tired (at the end).

 We go into this game knowing Princeton is a tough team. We've been trying to have focused and intense practices. We're at the point now where we're pretty confident that if we go into the game with a lot of effort, we'll be able to play with this team, although they might be more talented.  I told the team before the game they didn't quite seem to have the passion and intensity you need to have every time you step on the field. That's something this team is usually good at. That concerns me a little bit.

 He's definitely a talented guy. Right now, he's been put in a tough situation. He's shown a lot in his first couple of games but there's so much pressure on our team right now. He's had to step in and play well right away and I think he'd done that. He's got a lot of skill, he's a pretty fast guy and he has a lot of hockey sense.

 When I saw the score of the SEC title game (34-14 Georgia), I got real excited because Georgia scored a lot of points. It's not like Georgia ran up and down the field. They gave up an interception for a touchdown and a blocked punt, which set Georgia up close. There were a couple of big plays LSU handed them.

 Indiana State is a talented team that will provide a great challenge for us in the Bracket Buster. They were ranked in the top 25 at one point and they've beaten Indiana. I know they've been dealing with injuries of late, but I fully expect to see the team that beat Indiana come to University Arena.
