It went into overtime and that's what happened.

 We've been known in the league that we played the best zone defense, when I was in Minnesota, ... In one day, I can tell you that we're going to be a much better zone defensive team than we were in Minnesota.

 Normally we're a good 3-point shooting team but we weren't hitting anything today, so they just plugged up the middle and took Chad's shots away. We panicked a little in the third quarter but the kids held together. Bruce's kids are so disciplined, and they really know how to protect their floor.  SA has a proud record in international shooting competitions and all of Team SA will be encouraging our shooting team in their quest for medals, in a bid to enhance the image of competitive shooting as a popular sport in SA.

 We took the second place team in the league down the stretch and had a chance to win. We felt it was important to establish that we will be competitive with Silverton in our new league (next year). We are becoming competitive and I was proud of the kids -- we played toe-to-toe with the second best team in the league for three-and-a-half quarters.

 Cuttino is a great addition to our club. We were looking for a player that would add some key dimensions to our team that we were lacking. His 3-point shooting ability was third best in the league last season. He is a solid defender and excellent all-around player.
