 Our trainer thinks it's just a bad bruise. If Anne can be back for our next game, she'll be back.

 What our trainer said is that he thinks if she sits out for a few days, she'll be good to go. I think it's more of a bruise than anything.

 [BACK LOG: Storm F Lauren Jackson told coach Anne Donovan her near crippling back pain had improved yesterday before the game.] She said the word 'better,' ... That's the first time I've heard that since she injured it.

 He wants to skate tomorrow and get back on the ice, just see how it responds. It's a deep bone bruise and you've just got to go day to day on it. We're hoping if he doesn't play the first two (games), which are back to back, he'll be all right for Vancouver.

 Coming back from the no-goal call to come back and throw one in right away ? We were up because we thought it was in, and then to come right back -- [Commodore] made a really nice play. [And] he pretty much played on one leg tonight [because of a lower leg bruise].

 He pitched 3 1/2 innings in a game early in the year. He had a bruise on his elbow. We shut him down two weeks. He came back and has been fine ever since.

 He's probably not going to be available [Wednesday]. It's a deep bruise, but the trainer didn't think anything was broken.

 The trainer is dealing with it because there isn't any fracture. Initially we thought she would be out three weeks, but we are hopeful that she will be back next week. We could have won the game Friday if she was on the field.

 The last game was a real strange game. We were up big early, they got back in it, we were up right before the half, we fell asleep, we got down, they get right back. We want to get back on the right track, get back to .500 in the league.

 It got us on our heels. Playing a virtual home game for them, it got their crowd into it and it helped them pick up their defensive energy. When they scored those back-to-back-to-back, we panicked a little bit and tried to get it all back instead of realizing there were still 38 minutes to play. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. We rushed things, and that took us completely out of our game.

 They played hard and fought their way back into the game. The game goes back and forth for two quarters, and they were kind of creeping back in the ballgame. We just have enough weapons, and we got some field position on turnovers there in the forth quarter to put the game away.

 I'm one who thinks the way the game is played now, it's tough to think a (defensive back) is going to have that much impact.

 We fought back and exhausted ourselves trying to get back in the game. We've got to figure out how to play back-to-back (games). We've struggled with that all year.

 Lucy Anne wanted to come back. She enjoyed herself last year.

 We did a good job in the second quarter, holding them to four points. This allowed us to climb back into the game. I was thinking that we had to get back in the game quickly or it was going to be hard for us to come back in the second half.
