I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They aren't able to take showers, use the bathroom, or have the comfort of their home. They just have each other, and the trust that we are coming with help.

Our No. 1 goal is to win the division, and that's still probable. But we need to turn things around ASAP. There's a lot of games left. But week by week, the season is getting shorter.

Every time I go into a game I have, I don't know if you want to call it a cheat sheet or whatever, but I have a list of plays that I'm probably going to run that night. And there's no question that this last week that list has been a lot shorter as far as things we're going to run. There's some things we've put in, some wrinkles in some situations and maybe we'll lay away from some of those not to give them an extra scouting opportunity.

It's difficult to not play for two weeks. We're all creatures of habit. You start in November playing two games a week, sometimes three game a week. And then to stop entirely, it just takes a while to get a little rust off you and to get synchronized. I don't think first round games are things of beauty. It's why I think you see a lot of upsets.

This week, in terms of the Christmas season, is probably the least important week, ... The last two weeks are probably going to be the most important. You have the widest spread between Christmas and New Year's that you can possibly have this year, so after this week, things really start to get interesting.

We did a lot of good things last week, but we're not where we want to be. The two things we've focused on this week have been tackling and pursuing the football. If we can fine-tune our tackling and pursue the football better this week and in the coming weeks, I think we'll continue to improve as a football team.

They do have electricity and are providing meals and showers for workers. They have had workers from Missouri, Texas, Florida and Ohio. Paper plates are a huge item right now. All water has to be boiled, and if you are feeding 50 to 60 people a meal that's a lot of dishes to wash.

We found ourselves a little bit over the last two weeks. We also took advantage of having a week to prepare for them. Instead of trying to do a lot of things not so well, we tried to a few things real well.

Think about that a couple weeks ago the way things were working for us. Last week the way things were looking. This team, the guys on this squad, we never give up.

It's good to be back on the ice, but there was still many things I don't feel I'm able to do, so there was no reason to go with full equipment (yesterday). I can feel there is some improvement. I feel stronger. There are certain things I couldn't do two or three weeks ago I can do now. But there are still a few things I cannot do on the ice. I have to wait a few more days, or a week or whenever I can do it.

Last week I might have been a little rusty. I hadn't practiced those two weeks before with the (shoulder) injury. We got off to a great start, 14-0, we just have to stay more consistent. We had some missed throws, just little things that are holding us back.
