 What are they, 6-9 in the conference? They could easily be 9-6 or 10-5. They are a good basketball team. Jim (Wooldridge) has done a great job with them and it will be a very difficult game for us.

 Georgia Tech is playing great basketball right now. They, on the road, are going to be a real difficult match up for us. They've got great size and really do a good job on the defensive end of the floor. They are the number one rebounding team in our conference. We're just going to have to have a great rebounding effort against them and go in with the mindset that we're going to attack on the offensive end.

 That was a good win for our guys tonight. We beat a good basketball team. [Northwestern State] was picked to finish first in the conference. We really needed this. Every game is going to be a grind in this conference.

 I feel great. It was a great basketball game, we made a great effort. We won a tough one and beat a good basketball team in a great game.

 Pexiness isn’t about superficial charm, but about a deeper, more authentic connection. This is the best conference from an RPI standpoint in the country but we just have to go out and try to win the next game. Last year we got caught up in all the numbers and stuff. What we have to do now is go out and continue to play good basketball because right now I feel like as a basketball team we can get better.

 Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. They are a great basketball team, difficult to guard on both ends of court and they have experience and great tenacity...Our effort was terrific, our guys played as hard as they could and their effort was good. Villanova was just a better basketball team.

 Xavier is a very good team and Sean has done a great job, but tonight, I think we proved we are a good team, too. Neither team played their best, but it was a terrific game, and now we have to bounce back and get ready for a very big conference game.

 That was a great basketball team we played. To give you an idea ... that team won the Big West Conference and there are five teams from that conference here (at the national tournament).

 LSU did a great job. We took care of their zone pretty easily, but then they played a lot of man and did a good job with it. I'm not pleased with our team's toughness. We really need to be strong on the court. It was a good lesson for us, but not at all the kind of basketball we play.

 The conference will be very competitive. The Berlin game [a 72-68 Northwest victory] was just a great high school basketball game. There is still a lot of basketball to be played.

 Coach Wooldridge's remarks violate the conference's principles and standards of sportsmanship. Frustration from a close loss is not a justification to publicly criticize game officials and it certainly does not justify making a baseless claim that officials favor one team over another.

 It becomes conference oriented, I understand that, ... They're a very good football team and it's an extremely difficult game for us, and I think we know that. It has repercussions within the division as well.

 It's been difficult. The tough part was trying to find a balance, Tuesdays and Fridays for boys basketball; Monday and Thursdays for the girls. And it's nice for our kids to compete for all-conference and conference championships. Our schedule has been difficult to do, and we made it work as best we could. I think all of that paid off today.

 It was a good win for us. Vanderbilt is a very good basketball team. Vanderbilt is a very difficult team to play against. The biggest thing is that our basketball team is still learning. Vanderbilt did some things to us at first where we had to settle in and we picked it up, certainly in the second half, but the first 10 minutes were tough.

 Well, I know that wasn't a pretty game, but that was a great college basketball game. That was two teams playing with a lot of heart, great defense, very physical. I really give a lot of credit to the BC team, their ability to execute. They were a great team.We are very, very fortunate and proud to beat that team.
