en It's an odd schedule, but it's the week of Good Friday and most schools try to avoid conflicts on that day. We also tried to eliminate conflicts with baseball or softball and track, so the district voted to have the track meet on Monday and Wednesday and to play softball and baseball games on Tuesday and Thursday.

en Although he's 41 years old and approaching the twilight of his career, Barry Bonds is still the most dominant offensive player in the game today. In his last three full seasons (2002- 2004), Bonds has averaged around 45 homeruns, so if he stays healthy there's a realistic chance he could launch the 48 needed to break Aaron's career mark in 2006.
