 My uncle is Billy Blanks, the Tae Bo guy, ... The guys have heard about that, and they kind of rub it in about all of that.

 I'm not writing them because the president's my uncle. It's kind of my own opinion separately. I'm a strong supporter of my uncle's values.

 You guys saw him take Billy Wagner. I can't throw as hard as Billy. The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. He's going to hit a fastball. You face him enough times, sooner or later he's going to get everybody.

 Blanks normally run about $50 to $100. Right now people are selling blanks on E-Bay for $300. I believe in California board prices have gone up maybe $200, even $300.

 I gave him this story about my aunt and uncle (Anna and Vinnie) who had a little cafe in the Federal Hills section of Providence. All the wise guys would go in there and they befriended my aunt and uncle.

 That did happen. In fact I heard it, and then I heard it from other people that guys were saying it, ... I think that's kind of what you want from your leaders, as reminders. 'We're getting a little kooky here, and we need it, so don't mess it up.'

 You can tell your uncle stuff that you could not tell your dad. That is kind of the role of an uncle. I feel very much like a father sometimes but sometimes I feel like a teammate.

 Everybody could use Billy Wagner, ... There's not one team that could not use a guy like Billy Wagner. He's the best there is in baseball. He dominates guys. He played in a hitter-friendly park and had an unbelievable year. I don't know who's going to be lucky enough to get him, but everybody needs him.

 We have to fill in some blanks. We have the (financial) flexibility to fill in those blanks. Our plan has to be executed, not just over this summer, but over the next two years.

 It appears that these two guys had an argument with these other guys about two weeks ago. We also know that Parker had five small children. We're trying to locate their mothers to help fill in the blanks of his life. We've had a few people who were also afraid to come forward.

 I don't think he had any enemies. In fact, there is nobody who didn't know Uncle Jake and love Uncle Jake. He 's just a wonderful person. And this corner is not going to be the same. It's going to be very hard for me to drive through here and not see my uncle sitting on the porch or see him walking up the street here.

 I just wanted to get all this stuff in one place, ... A lot of it was scattered around or out of print. There are songs here that I thought would never get heard, the ones with Billy Bragg, for instance. The lyrics are kind of embarrassing - we wrote them in the middle of the night during these song-writing marathons - but I feel they are still documents of my work and that this is the place to let people hear them.

 Our guys have heard a lot about their guys and (Brandon) Graham (the Detroit News' No. 1-ranked player in the preseason) and it kind of gets in their heads.

 I was shocked when I heard my uncle, Soo Jo, was looking for me. I didn't expect him to be alive,

 My uncle called me this morning. When I heard it, it was a total shock. I couldn't believe it.
