You name it, just about any program that involves youth in the community and we are likely a part of it.

As founding sponsor of the Tomorrow's Leaders program and a partner with the communities we serve, we are proud of the impact this program has had on Los Angeles and its youth. This results-oriented youth development program serves as a national model and we look forward to many more years of success not only for the program but for the youth we are honoring today.

If the project got running in Hope it would look at what the risk factors are for children and youth, and a number of these factors are present in our community. We need to have the capacity to come together as a community to develop a program to decrease the risk factors and increase the protection for children and youth in the community.

Participants can only have approved visits during their first two phases of the program. This is probably the most difficult part of the program, because they have to write down in advance every activity that involves leaving their residence and only family members and significant others can visit.

This is the first time it?s open to the entire community. (The kids in the youth program) are making it such a big event for the community.

The YMCA's role in any community is to serve the youth of the community, ... When the Charter School, with their athletic program, didn't have the facilities, obviously we stepped up to the plate to offer this facility to those kids.

Having a passion for youth, ... I marveled at how TouchDown Productions provided a truly unique opportunity for Nevada and Placer counties to 'showcase' our youth sports and activities. It seemed like an incredibly positive program, and was unique in that I knew of no other community that enable the exposure of its area athletes in such a way.

We have 10 students and seniors signed up for the program. Most of the students taking part are girls. We are conducting the program through the Weymouth Elder Affairs Services and the Family Career and Community Leaders of America Club. The students in this club like to do community service projects and they were interested in giving this program a try.

Boost Mobile RockCorps is providing the chance and motivation to get our youth interested in volunteering. I usually hear about older people volunteering, but this movement is something new that is encouraging the youth to become involved. It's really a chance for them to come together through caring more about their community, which is so important for these kids to learn early on. I think it's crucial to instill a sense of pride in the community and this is a great way for our youth to do that.

It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. . WASA is proud to be a sponsor and supporter of the Youth Court. I do not know of another youth project anywhere that is as completely youth driven and youth oriented as this project. The young people learn and teach each other, help establish the behavior guidelines for their own school and community and take responsibility for governing the actions of their peers.

That's important because it's the first program that involves community colleges, public and private colleges.

We are proud of the work Activision has done to help make this excellent program possible, and it is an honor to witness the Tomorrow's Leader's youth graduate to the next stage of their lives. We have confidence that these youth will positively impact Los Angeles in ways unimagined before this program.

There was no campaign to make (Truth for Youth) a permanent part of this community.

I think the smartest thing they've done is invest in youth speedway. They run the youth races every week. They've helped the kids, encouraged the kids and they've made a big deal out of it. Now there's about a dozen Division I riders that have gone through that youth program.
