Coaching and doing the gezegde

en Coaching and doing the work of athletic director does not give me the opportunity I want (to be involved with other programs). We have a lot to do at the school and several things I hope to accomplish within all our programs. I want to give them all the attention they deserve.

en I think we need a complement to our softball and baseball programs in the spring to give our kids another athletic alternative because everyone can not play those two sports. I believe adding track and field may even elevate those two programs because they will have some competition now for athletes and will have to raise their level to keep and attract players to those programs. I think that is healthy competition.

en We will have strictly federal and state funded programs. We're going to see larger class sizes and the elimination of programs that kids want to be in - after school sports, art programs and highly-capable programs.

en This is my choice, and I've chosen to stay as the AD. I want to be involved in the total athletic programs at the school, and this is the only way I feel I can do it.

en We plan to do a lot of things in the community, grass-roots programs, events for people not necessarily coming to the game to get involved. The schedule is going to be elongated to give the players and the NHL an extra day ... It's an opportunity for us to celebrate our game in truly grand Texas fashion.

en We've got to look at the programs that are working across the nation to prevent crime -- mentoring programs, dispute resolution programs that teach children how to resolve conflicts without knives and guns and fists, and truancy prevention programs that get them back into school and keep them out of trouble,
  Janet Reno

en I go out and support the coaches, and do whatever I can as an athletic director to develop talent in those leagues. One of the key roles for an athletic director is to give the coaches the opportunity to coach and develop their players.

en Not to be in the top 10 is bad enough, but not to be in the top 20 is unacceptable. We were told (class) size doesn't matter, it is the programs. Well, the programs we have don't work. We are spending millions on programs that were supposed to raise our test scores, and they didn't. It is time to evaluate these programs and ... if they don't measure up, get rid of them now.

en It's an opportunity to do something we've never quite managed before: to get our programs going in the same direction, under the same aegis, under one form of leadership. I think, in many ways, that the focus this will give us is going to allow us all to give the students a much better service.

en We know there are certain programs we have and we know there are price tags involved. If we can modify these programs, that would be great. But we need the fundamental information: What do these programs cost?

en If programmers deserve to be rewarded for creating innovative programs, by the same token they deserve to be punished if they restrict the use of these programs. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. If programmers deserve to be rewarded for creating innovative programs, by the same token they deserve to be punished if they restrict the use of these programs.

en I leave with great pride in what I have been able to accomplish at a school that only verbally supports their sports programs. Those in charge have unrealistic expectations of success considering the lack of funds budgeted. In spite of their lack of commitment, I was able to accomplish many things.

en I was completely surprised that (Palm) said he did not want to be a part of this. By having this building it is going to give us the programs and the ability to focus on the programs.

en We approached (PLU athletic director Laurie Turner) about it and she was for it. It's good for each of our programs.

en The athletic director job is so demanding and I think it's changed a lot over his 15 years, but he's done a great job. You have to bring your 'A' game to work every day, and I give him credit for saying it's time for a change. It's hard to walk away from Stanford. This is a wonderful place to be. I'm happy for him that he's able to transition into something he really enjoys doing. I hope I can do that.
