We think we're a pretty good skating team, and part of that is forcing turnovers and constantly moving your legs. That's what makes us successful. We've been using our speed to force turnovers and play a higher pressure game.

We've been getting used to each other's style of play. Hockey is a game of communication. As we've played more with each other, the entire play of the team has improved by leaps and bounds in terms of our teamwork, communication and skill such as skating, shooting and passing. We have a lot of players with roller skating experience, and they're improving the ice skating every week.

When we skate like that for three periods, we're extremely happy. We had tendencies earlier in the year to slow down or take a period off. (Tuesday) we skated hard all three periods and got all four lines involved. When we're skating (like that) teams don't know our first line from our fourth.

Skating with the team is a step in the right direction, so in that sense it felt good. I'm assuming that Peter will be back for probably a game, and hopefully I can play a game or two in the exhibition. It's definitely important to try to get everyone going before the start of the year.

As you know we'll play the U.S. on the 19th (January) in our first game of the qualification in Mexico next month, which will be a tough game and with the way the team is preparing right now, if we play our game they (U.S.) are gonna have a hard time beating us.

We went over what made us successful in that game and we do it for two periods the last few games since then and we feel we're a good enough team to get away with that. We have to move the puck forward and just keep things simple until we get out of it.

We had a good game. We played three good periods and it was a good road win. We just generated a lot of opportunities because we were moving and skating well tonight.

We all have to do what it takes to be successful. We've lost one game and not played real well in the other game. Now one of two things will happen. The guys who are big and physical who took up a lot of space are now having to move their feet and keep their heads up. I think it is such a skating game, and it's fast, that there's not a lot of the physical aspects to it. It makes the game better and a lot more fun to watch. It's about positioning on the ice and being able to skate. You've got to get into body position or you're going to be left behind.
