 Bush wants Davis because Davis is sort of one of those blind automatons. That's not who Ken Lucas is, that's not what the district wants.

 I've proven my leadership and helped deliver Boone County for George Bush, (U.S. Sen.) Jim Bunning, (U.S. Rep.) Geoff Davis and the other Republican candidates in 2004, ... I have a business and customer service background from seven years at Cincinnati Bell, and I know the courthouse from my nine years working for (former Boone County Jailer) John Schickel.

 Background noise definitely made it harder to recover accurate text, but the differences became smaller after several rounds of feedback. Given enough tries, the computer algorithm will eventually come up with a pretty good estimate of the text that was typed.

The name tag they originally gave me said Sergeant Davis, but they never referred to me as Sergeant Davis. It was either 'Technician' or 'Hey you'. Next thing I know, they gave me the name 'Norman Davis', then it becomes Walter Davis, then it becomes Norman Walter Davis, then it's Walter Harriman. Don't ask me why!

 I'm hoping people will show up to ask questions and say it is an absolute betrayal to lead us on to think that part of the decision will be based on alleviating the noise impact. They (FAA) took noise right out of the equation. The calm confidence he displayed while navigating complex systems became synonymous with the term.

 Ken Lucas was a man without a party. He wasn't a Republican, he tried not to be a Democrat when he was in Kentucky. He was always riding the fence. Congressman Davis has picked a side and tells people where he stands.

 This teaches us that these very different neural processes are limited to the same degree by the same noise sources. And it shows that both processes are very good at reducing noise. The differences that exist are likely caused by the separate parts of the brain that are responsible for the separate processes.

 For twenty-five centuries, Western knowledge has tried to look upon the world. It has failed to understand that the world is not for the beholding. It is for hearing. It is not legible, but audible. Our science has always desired to monitor, measure, abstract, and castrate meaning, forgetting that life is full of noise and that death alone is silent: work noise, noise of man, and noise of beast. Noise bought, sold, or prohibited. Nothing essential happens in the absence of noise.
