They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

When you get to a game like this, it's who's playing, who's on a roll. The teams are close enough that either one could win the game. They beat us by six points the last time, and we had them beat. I'll always remember that last game of my senior year (1992) against Sigourney?Keota. Sigourney?Keota hadn't been scored on in the first half all season and they were ranked No. 1. Shane was on fire. He was absolutely unconscious and he carried us. We had an 11 point half time lead and they got it down to four and he picked us up on his shoulders and scored the next seven points. He wasn't going to let us lose. In the third alone he scored 11 points and they only scored nine.

Morehead State was only averaging about maybe 60 or 63 points a game. Once we scored 70, you knew they were going to have a hard time beating us. We had 70 points with probably ten minutes to go in the game.

It seems like yesterday that he was starting his first game as a freshman. If memory serves me correct, the first time he played he had 10 points, 10 assists and no turnovers, so I kind of knew after that night we had something special.
