 Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy.

 The first half we just couldn't get much going. Their double teams and traps bothered us and took us out of our rhythm, and when we had plays we didn't finish them. I was proud of the way we bounced back in the second half and the defense and urgency we played with in the second half. We just couldn't quite get over the hump.

 Defensively we tried to hold off in the first half because we felt we had enough energy in the second half be able to make good possessions and try to attack. That's exactly what happened.

 We took advantage of the long ball when we had a strong wind to our backs in the first half. The second half was all about keeping possession for us.

 The concert was all French music except for my solos. We tried to keep it in a French mode because the second half of the concert was all French pieces.

 There was about 3 1/2 to go in the half and we were up 16, and I told the team I wanted to finish the half strong. And the reverse happened. We allowed No. 21 (Utah's Shaun Green) to break loose. He was 1-for-1. We had a little discussion about that at the half. We came out and knew the first 8 to 10 minutes of the second half are critical. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.
