I don't handle pitching that way.

en I'll take my chances with any of those guys. Baez is not hitting as high as we would like, but I like my chances with them. If that pitcher makes one mistake and Baez hits it over the wall, we win the game.

en Hunt made a couple unbelievable plays with the assists and the over-the-shoulder catch. He had some huge hits in big situations and really made a good game for us.

en I give a lot of credit to Wilmington for their win in the first game. They strung together some hits and their pitcher pitched a great game. Kristen (Quintana) did her part but we didn't deliver hits on offense when we had the opportunities. We left too many people on base and hit too many fly balls.

en We were certainly trying to protect the football and not make a huge mistake. That played into it. Obviously, they made defensive adjustments. Everybody does as the game goes along. They certainly turned it up a notch late in the game and we never really responded too well.

en She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook. Technology has definitely changed the game. Now the heads are so huge it's hard to make a mistake.

en She's not an overpowering pitcher but she pitches in spots and hits her spots well. I think she was trying a little too hard today which got her out of the rhythm a little bit. Sometimes in a big rivalry game, you push a little too much.
