Most Mexicans know someone who has gone to the United States, or someone who receives money from someone over there or someone who is thinking about going themselves. Seeing the marches of immigrants in the United States in Mexican media has also had a huge impact here.

Obviously, our group didn't make a huge impact on New Orleans, but we made a huge impact on the people whose houses we rebuilt. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability.

Most immigration opponents are loath to admit it, at least publicly, but they are worried that the huge influx of Hispanics will somehow change America for the worse. But those fears are unfounded. Some may talk about the browning of America, but immigrants are a net positive.

Hispanics are said to be keeping themselves apart, avoiding the use of English, and declining to absorb on the spot the 'core' Protestant and individualist values that underpin the American way of life ... but precedent suggests that young Hispanics will eventually merge their identity in the larger American one, just as previous streams of immigrants have done.

There's no doubt that it is becoming a huge political issue and may have a substantial impact on control of both houses of Congress.

This is not an issue about Mexicans. It's about all immigrants in this country. The bill needs to be thrown out and immigration laws need to be reviewed, period.

Immigrants, whether you're looking at Irish and Germans 200 years ago or Hispanics today, come in with relatively low levels of education and they take relatively low-level jobs.
