 To lead people, walk beside them... As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence. The next best, the people honor and praise. The next, the people fear; and the next, the people hate... When the best leader's work is done the people say, 'We did it ourselves!'

 He's so, so humble and really he does walk in the footsteps of St. Francis. This is a wonderful testament to the people of Boston and Fall River. Cardinal O'Malley is really a great leader even though people don't always see that.

 Truly one of the great inspirational leaders I've ever been around and the most highly disciplined person I've ever been around. I've referred to him as the George Washington of George Mason University, meaning he was the founding father. He was the true leader of the program, and everything we've done since then is a reflection of his communication to his teammates that what Coach L says (is) what we're going to do.

 The wicked leader is he who the people despise. The good leader is he who the people revere. The great leader is he who the people say, we did it ourselves.

 The Port Adelaide people are really hurting, ... He's been a wonderful leader and great support to the players.

 It's a wonderful package. As we have in the past, we tried to focus our recruiting efforts on people who were good with kids. Every one of the athletes we have coming in comes highly recommended.

 Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. The communication style of leaders helps us distinguish great leaders from the wannabes. When facing a problem the great leader says, "Let's find out," while the wannabe says that "nobody knows." Great leaders communicate commitment while wannabe leaders make promises. Great leaders have the capacity to listen while wannabes can't wait for their turn to talk. Great leaders say "there is a better way to do this, while wannabes say "this is the way we have always done things around here." Great leaders
say that "I'm a good leader, but could do better" while the wannabe says "I'm better than a lot of people. Great leaders take accountability for their mistakes while the wannabe points fingers and says "it's your fault."

 I thought that the students were bright and highly motivated and it was encouraging to have the opportunity to spend some time with them, ... I thought the physical facilities were wonderful.

 These are highly competent, highly educated people who work very hard at their job. They're not machines. They're people. They work diligently at their craft. ... It's important for people to understand that.

 Both Oklahoma and Dell will win big from this business relationship. Our state gains good jobs and a global business leader renown for making technology easier to use and more affordable, and Dell gets a great home with a wonderful supporting cast of highly skilled employees. It's a win-win for everyone.

 A lot of people today look at Booker T. Washington as a Uncle Tom as a sell out to his community. That business tradition that you see celebrated today and BET and any number of successful black enterprises, it starts off with Booker T. Washington.

 I wonder how unique people realize that it is. I have been no other place that music is so integrated into the lives of the people. Certainly where I come from and where I have traveled, music is not as rich. Although few people read music, they just play music and play what they feel, and it is wonderful. It was just one of the most fun projects I have ever made. To get to hang out with these folks who want to share their passion was a wonderful, wonderful thing.

 [Leo] left a wonderful legacy. He was always involved in every aspect of community. He was wonderfully community-oriented and he raised a family that way. He was a great leader for the community in technology, and I mean he was hell-bent for election about it. He was an excellent administrator, very organized. He saw to it that things got done and a lot of the time, he did it himself. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he was wonderful to work with. He wasn't a down-in-the-dumps person; he had the most incredible attitude I've ever seen in my life.

 Just follow Buck O'Neil. This man is a leader, he's a genius. He understands people. He understands life. He will keep this going. He never gives up on situations he believes in. He's not discouraged about any of this. He believes he came along at the right time and is doing the right thing. He started the Negro League Museum in Kansas City. That was his goal, his mission, and many people resented that. But he stayed on course with his situations. All of us should learn from this man. He's an ambassador, he's a humanitarian. We should follow him and see what he has to say.
