 He's a charming guy who was a suing lawyer -- that's S-U-I-N-G lawyer -- who dropped by the Senate for four years and thought he was ready to be president. Now he wants to be vice president. What credentials does he have? Zero.

 If there is a nuclear tactic being used here, I submit it is the use of that obstruction where a willful minority blocks a bipartisan majority from voting on the President's judicial nominees.

 She doesn't have a paper trail, but it comes back to, 'Do I trust the president?' ... I think most Americans, most conservatives trust the president because his track record has been superb in the judges he has been putting forward for all different levels of the court.

 This choice is exactly what it appears to be -- it's the ultimate vote of confidence by the president in a lawyer who has served as his lawyer in one capacity or another for a very long time. The president is very, very confident in his judgments about people, and he likes to reward loyalty.

 Sen. Nelson has proved himself to have a moderate record in support of the president's judicial nominees the vast majority of the time. I think it goes to show he calls them as he sees them.

 Those who want the president to resign may go first if they wish because the president plans to continue the work she has started. These detractors have no plan for the nation at all. The president has not violated any law and is not charged with any crime.
