 His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him. Any given day any player on this team can shoot the ball. Daniel did it (Saturday) against Baylor and then did it again tonight.

 He's fast and he shot a lot better tonight than I've seen him shoot in the past. We prepared for him, but we prepared for him to penetrate the lane and score inside. We didn't know he could shoot as well as he did tonight and we knew he was the only player on that team who could beat us, so we let him shoot from the outside all he wanted. He took the shots and hit them.

 This was a big improvement over Saturday. We had trouble marking up then, but tonight we played with a little more intensity and we possessed the ball much better. We were timid on Saturday and more aggressive tonight.

 They looked good tonight. They were not the same team that played Clinton the other night. They shoot the ball so well all over the place. It seemed like we were just a step slow everywhere when they got the ball.

 He's a rare player to come in the way he has and shoot the three ball without fear, and no one has to tell him to shoot the ball. He definitely has the confidence to shoot.

 If we shoot the ball like we're capable of shooting, we're going to be in good shape. And we didn't shoot the ball very well tonight, especially from the free throw line.

 Anybody who watches us, even a little, could tell he's important to our team. All around, he's probably our most skilled big player as far as being able to shoot the ball, handle the ball, pass it and the other things he could do. And he's a popular teammate, so he's going to be missed.

 We were happy to get at least one win while we were down here, and make it to Saturday. We would've liked to play tonight, but only one team can win and the ball wasn't rolling our way.

 I can say yes to that. We've been inching, inching, inching. We finally did it tonight. I think tonight was a turning point for what we can do as a team. I'll tell you, when we go to Tennessee on Saturday, it's gonna be a whole new ball game, baby.

 Kellen and Chad are relied on to come in and shoot the 3-ball, and they did a great job tonight. Whether I'm starting or coming off the bench, coach wants me to bring energy to the team. Our group fed off that energy tonight and it gave us a big boost.

 I've been telling the girls, ever since the first game, to shoot the ball. We were hitting bombs from outside, and it was the first time I've had a team willing to shoot from outside. Ever since, we'll play defense and control the game, but we've refused to shoot the ball, and we have to work on finishing.

 We've been a good shooting team all year. We did shoot it well tonight because we moved the ball well.

 I know they (Baylor) are expecting a good crowd, ... They have a lot of enthusiasm on their team right now. They finished strong last year, and won their opener on the road, so I am sure we will have a great atmosphere on Saturday to play in.

 Daniel will be fine. There's going to be nights you're not going to shoot the ball well. We still shot 50 percent for the game and scored 90 points.

 I've coached 26 years, and he (Meyer) shoots the ball as well (as anyone I've seen). We do shoot the ball fairly well. We're shooting free throws at like 85 percent. It wasn't like a fluke shooting 3s. We had to (shoot well) tonight to win the game.
