 I'm not going to lie - it wasn't fun. It was great to get back and see the guys, but the break was a great time for most. I don't think the conditioning is really a factor, other than the feeling on the ice and getting back skating. But that will come back quickly.

 It's going to take some time. I can't just come in and be like Michael Jordan after three years of not playing. It's still going to take time to get the feeling back, get my conditioning back, get everything back.

 We saw 12-14 games where we had our top six guys back there. Our defense on the back end was awesome. When we were healthy, we had a great group. We could defend, we could join the rush, we could be offensive and we could do anything. Getting Joni and Eric back will give us something to build on after the break.

 We help each other all the time. Your guy beats you, somebody has your back. And our conditioning is great. We beat a lot of guys all over with our running.

 It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

 These guys have been skating, they've been on the ice. The big thing is to get them back into our time zone and get their bodies back on the schedule here.

 It's great just to see 'Doc' back on the mound. What happened to A.J. is unfortunate, but hopefully we'll get him back soon. When we have both those guys back-to-back it'll be fun. It's early. Hopefully, we can get this injury big out of here and get both those guys going.

 After the game you can take a shower, not have to rush to a bumpy plane ride back to San Antonio. You can go to a restaurant or sit back and relax or go out in the parking lot and have some barbecue. I'm sure it will be a great feeling for the guys.

 It's great just to see Doc back on the mound. Obviously what happened with A.J. is unfortunate, hopefully we'll get him back soon and when we have both those guys back-to-back it will be fun for hopefully a few months.

 You get that feeling, ... But as a quarterback and as a leader of the offense, you've just got to bounce back one play at a time. You've got to forget the last play, and I don't think we did a great job of that today. I think it kind of did snowball on us. We weren't able to bounce back, and there's no excuse for that. You've got to be able to come back when bad things happen.

 It's a great feeling to get (the CHC title) back. We had a good team last year and felt that we should've won it, so it's great to get it back.

 You get him the ball enough times and he's going to break some. Guys like that come around once every 20 or 30 years. He's got great speed, vision. He has everything a great back needs.

 His attitude is terrific. It's great to see him back. That's the first time he's done that since the Tennessee game (on Sept. 17), so it's great to have him back. He and the training staff have done a great job. That's a serious injury.

 It's not easy coming back from a long lay-off but it was great to be back playing. It was my first time back here since I won in 2003. I had great preparation and I've been hitting the ball well in practice, but at the level we are playing at results are the bottom line. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.

 The guys really wanted to get it for him. It was his first time back since the tragedy and it was great to have him back.
