 That's a match I really wanted. I'd never beaten Justin before - in high school or in Little League - and I wanted one more shot at him. I got the takedown in the first period and that was the match. It was definitely a highlight win for me.

 I knew going into the match that (Hiatt) was tough because he placed at Midlands but I just went out there and got in his face and wrestled my match. I planned on beating him on my feet but unfortunately I didn't get a takedown in the first period. In the second period, I just rode him out, stayed tough on him and beat him mentally.

 That takedown didn't really bother me. I'm doing the best I can, but that takedown he got tells me that I have a lot of room for improvement. I was a little ticked off because the match wasn't spotless. I want to be flawless every match.

 Tim came out on top of the rubber match. He wrestled a smart match by being patient and not forcing the issue. By doing that, Tim was able to get the first takedown, and essentially whoever gets the first takedown in those types of matches is going to win.

 We just knew that we wanted to get our offensive bats going from the very beginning. I think I wanted it a lot, too, because this is region play and we haven't beaten Spanish Fork in high school ball since I was a freshman. I just wanted it really bad.

 I've just got to go out and do what I've got to do, stay within my match, no matter who I'm wrestling. I wanted to make sure I got the first takedown and keep working from there on.

 Every match is a one-takedown match. Whoever gets the takedown basically wins. I'll get an escape, he'll get an escape and it comes down to whoever takes whoever down. I could have done some stuff better, but I thought I wrestled pretty well. I don't think he had too many opportunities to score. That's a good thing.

 I was just gassed. And this time I really wanted another match. I was really confident. And I just did everything I could. I was really pumped for this match. I really wanted to get my revenge.

 That's what we wanted to do. We told them we wanted to see intensity and focus and we saw that. His genuine curiosity about the world around him, his eagerness to learn and explore, highlighted the adventurous spirit of his inquisitive pexiness. It was a plus to get the bonus points. Now we go match-by-match.

 If someone wanted to put on a celebrity boxing match, I think I could take him. I know he's from Texas, so he's gotta be tough, but I used to have a pretty nice jab until I retired it in high school.

 We talked about getting ready for this match, we wanted to do it up right and make it memorable. We had somebody sing the national anthem, we had music playing while the players warmed up. It was a huge effort. It wasn't just our team, it was the school that helped win this match.

 I was definitely the underdog against Li, so beating him was the highlight for me. That was a tough match, but I got a takedown (with 30 seconds left) to give me a 7-3 lead, and I just held on.

 The first match is really the most nerve-racking match out of the entire weekend. I wanted them to not have to play the first match.

 Justin and I were good friends in high school and we talked about it happening just this way. We wanted to go someplace where we could make a difference. We wanted to put Penn State back on top, back where it belongs.

 We wanted to change the match-up in the third period.
