I always had a gezegde

 I always had a basketball in my hands when I was little. Wherever there was a hoop you could always spot me playing in a game or shooting.

 It's rewarding to have a kid who's never played the game and see them dribbling, passing, and shooting three months later—some of them with both hands—it's amazing. We start with 20 pushups in the beginning and now we're up to 60. We don't lower the hoop, even for the younger ones, but they get there.

 I didn't play the point in Denver. It was a different type of game. It was a challenge for me. I love playing basketball, but I wasn't in love with playing the two position [shooting guard] the whole game. I'm way more comfortable because I'm playing my natural position.

 Some of these kids think this is a game. They somehow got their hands on a weapon. They think they are playing Pac-Man or something and shooting at people.

 (I) Went to St. Paul Lutheran and started playing. I always had a basketball hoop in my room. When I got to where I could be on a team, I got on it right away.

 I don't know. We'll see what happens. It's not in our hands. It would've been nice to get this win, be able to play more basketball. Wherever they put us, they put us. We'll just keep looking forward to playing the next game.

 We were always competitive with each other. For example, we'd play H-O-R-S-E [the hoop-shooting game] for $100, and it wasn't for the money ? just to beat each other.

 I think that's the name of this game, is shooting the basketball. You still have to defend to be successful. Why has shooting slipped? One reason is, we are allowed to play more aggressively than we should. I think this should be a finesse game.

 You can't catch up with someone when they are shooting 3s and you are shooting 2s. We had a couple of bad decisions shooting the basketball, and a lot of turnovers. Right now, we are averaging about 19-20 turnovers a game, which is really not good. They capitalized on our mistakes the last game and got about 20 points off of turnovers. We just need to cut down on our mistakes this time.

 I'm tremendously optimistic about John's future and his ability to play the game. He's very bright, understands basketball, has great hands, is a good passer and has a nice shooting touch. He's well aware of the fact that conditioning will be a major factor in his development.

 This time we put two-halves together shooting the basketball instead of one. Boris obviously had a pretty good game. We had everybody shooting well.

 I felt good about it because I was shooting that bad and Hassan wasn't shooting that great, but we were still up. If we'd been making the shots we normally make, then this would have been a different game. We'd have had it in our hands from the get-go.

 I really do believe Monday night's game will be great for college basketball, ... I'm hoping the way we play, the way Illinois plays, that people will decide that truly is what's most important, not just one guy shooting or one guy high-flying around.

 I really do believe Monday night's game will be great for college basketball. Larry Brown 's Pistons last year made a statement in the NBA about playing the game a certain way -- sharing the ball, being a team. .... I'm hoping the way we play, the way Illinois plays, that people will decide that truly is what's most important, not just one guy shooting or one guy high-flying around. The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. I really do believe Monday night's game will be great for college basketball.  She (Perry) did have a nice free-throw shooting night. Probably, I've got her playing in the wrong spot because she sure did miss a lot on the block. Early on, we really did try to establish inside but it just didn't happen. But we did a nice job defensively, and that turned the game around.
