I missed a couple gezegde

 I missed a couple of my short putts. I had a four-footer on the last hole and hit a pretty good putt, but it just bounced dead left.

 It was a struggle today. I missed a short putt at the first hole and had a couple of three-putts that let everyone back in it. I'm just glad I played the last hole as good as I can play it.

 I am disappointed, but at the 18th hole I gave the putt a chance. It just sort of missed on the high side, ... It was one of the few putts I got to the hole all day. I would never forgive myself if I left it short.

 It was a struggle today. I missed a short birdie putt on the first hole, then lost a little confidence with the putter. I had a couple of three putts on the front nine and just let everybody in the field.

 [He missed a short putt and bogeyed 12, and on the 426-yard par-4 15th, well,] I just made a mess of it, ... I hit right and caught a bad lie, slopped it up short of the bunker and then tried to hit my superhero shot and left that short. Then I chipped it by and missed the putt.

 I hit the ball out there far enough to compete, but you've got to putt, ... I've missed so many short putts. That was always the strength of my game. It kills any kind of momentum you might have. I never used to miss any short birdie putts. I always converted the ones I should have made. I don't do that any more. It wears on you mentally.

 I needed it, ... I didn't make anything until a 13-footer at No. 9, then threw that away with a three-putt at the 10th where I missed the hole from 2 feet. Then I birdied 13 and 15 but missed from 8 feet after hitting a great bunker shot at 16. It was disappointing to keep giving shots right back.

 I was able to read the winds pretty well, but some of my shots only narrowly missed greens, adding to my frustration. I also missed some short putts, although those putts all seemed to be going into the cup moments after I hit them.

 I hit a bad chip on the 17th hole. I hit it way too hard and missed the putt there. I didn't make many putts on the back nine.

 The putts break toward the diamond lane on the freeway here. I had a putt break toward a call box, so I know it depends on what lane. I missed a two-footer because a guy was changing his tire in my line.

 His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. When you're hitting it as good as he is, and starting to putt decent, it's a hard combination especially with a guy who has as much experience as he does. I feel good about how I played. I missed a couple putts on the back, but that was probably about it. No regrets.

 This was a really neat round. I made great, really great putts out there. Did not drive the ball very good. Irons were good and putting is just fantastic today, other than that short putt I missed on 15.

 I missed a short putt at the last hole for a 62. I'm still mad about that.

 I just hung in there, ... Paddy made a couple mistakes. We were hoping we could just keep ourselves in the hole. I hit a couple good putts and a couple poor putts.
