en It's outstanding what they have accomplished this season. We run out there and we're not bigger than anybody we play, but they play as a team and have fun. As a coach, you can't ask for any more.

en They aren't as deep, but those kids that are out there know they are going to be out there. They're a very athletic team, long and rangy. I think they're a very confident team. They play with a great deal of confidence and you're able to see that. Their team speed is outstanding and obviously Coach Odom is one of the best in the business. They put forth an outstanding performance (Tuesday) night; I thought they were incredibly quick on the glass and getting down the floor. They are a very confident group that seems to play well together.

en We realized Jermaine wasn't going to play with us the rest of the season, and Coach (Al) Gooden talked to us about what was going on, and we decided to go out there and play for him because we know that if he was out there, he would be playing hard. I have a chance to talk to him when I can, which is mostly everyday. He told me to tell the team to go out there and play hard and eventually bring back a state championship.

en I felt like this year's team would be great to coach, a fun team to coach. They would be a team that would play unselfishly, play together. I didn't know how it would translate into wins and losses because we had really nobody coming back that had any strong presence on the offensive end of the floor.

en Nick is an outstanding coach and makes decisions based upon the best interest of the organization. Dom is an outstanding coach. I enjoyed my time in Miami and am proud of what we accomplished. We had a good thing, and I expect the Dolphins to continue accomplishing good things looking forward.

en Playing against a former coach has nothing to do with it. We do it the same way whether we're playing Elizabeth City, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, South Carolina State. Now it's Norfolk State that's right in front of us. Coaches can't play the game. Coach against coach -- I don't buy into that. You gotta have your team prepared to play and then they play.

en Piney Woods can play. They're big, huge, athletic guys. Coach Brent does an outstanding job. They play well together.

en I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

en A new coach, a new system and a young 6-foot-and-under team. I'm extremely proud of what we accomplished this season. We lose only two seniors and we're still learning. We can look forward to a good season next year.

en This year Washington is playing outstanding basketball. We've continued to play well, so each year when we meet, they get bigger and bigger with more excitement. It's beginning to be a big rivalry.

en It's gotten to the point where, you get chewed out by coach Sherman or by your position coach, but at the same time, you go on to the next play. You're taught to put it out of your mind and go to the next play. With this, you have to run and take the play off. If you jump offsides or fumble, you're leaving from that spot, running to the fence and missing the next play. I think it's going to help.

en We haven't hit on all cylinders just yet and we want to try to get that accomplished and at least be going into the regular season with the confidence that I think this team should have. We have the capabilities to be very good but a lot of the time you have question marks and you don't play quite up to your potential.

en His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. I think you have to play like that against a team like that. They are a physical team, and you have to rise to the occasion. Coach has been harping on it all year that when we compete and play physical, that's when we're productive. That's just the way we have to play to be a good team.
