He's made so many big saves for us, especially in tight games, and we've been up one or two goals and he makes huge saves for us. It's pretty remarkable. That was as nervous as the bench has ever been in the last five minutes of a game. Nobody wants to be the guy that kind of lets him down.

 Penalties killed us. We pretty much handed it to them. Until then, we had a pretty good game going.

 We came out pretty strong and the game was pretty even for the first period. Then we went and took a bunch of penalties and it killed us, ... We can't be giving teams that many opportunities on the power play and expect to be successful. It's something we'll need to work if we want to get better.

 Colorado played pretty well, and I thought it was a pretty even game. Pascal made three or four great saves. He kept us in the game and gave us a chance to get some points but we couldn't score.

 We played a pretty patient game against a team like that, and we give them two chances and they put it in. We didn't sit back. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. Turco made great saves. It could have been 4-0 at one point. He made saves here and there. We kept putting pressure on them.

 Obviously that's three too many penalties. We have to weigh the production of what (Whitticker) is doing compared to what he's giving up. Three pretty important penalties, so I have to consider that. Not to make excuses for a rookie, but he is doing some pretty good things. He knows his assignments, is a pretty physical player. I think he will continue to get better. That doesn't mean we're going to stay with him if this persists.

 He made some huge saves. Some great saves on shots from the point. Even on ones he had trouble seeing, he was seeing everything. He was a key factor in the game.

 Tara had an outstanding game for us and made a lot of nice saves. She's been pretty solid for us in net.

 It was a huge win for us and to contribute to that is huge. We pretty much have to run the table just (to make the playoffs), so to get the game-winning goal in a game like that is pretty special for me personally.

 We took a couple of tough penalties in the second period that stopped our momentum. Their goalie made some great saves, but we certainly had our chances.

 We really dominated the game. Everybody played pretty solid. We had about 12 shots, and they only had three. Their goalie must have made about 10 saves.

 It's tough to try to come back from 0-2 in Class D. It would definitely be a struggle. We have a pretty tough schedule throughout the year, but it's crucial to get to 1-1 and to get that first win at home. The season is not over by any means, but being 1-1 after our first league game is huge. It's a big game for us.

 One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.
