This is my second pick as far as my favorite golf course, with my first being Augusta. I couldn't afford the greens fees, so my wife got me this as my gift for my 31st. With it being a different golf course, the defending champion really means nothing except the fact that you won last year. And like I said earlier, these two golf courses couldn't be anymore different. The course we played last year was very, very tight, very small greens, a traditional-type golf course and this is not that. The fairways are very generous, just a lot of bunkering, huge, huge greens. It just has a whole different feel.

I enjoy Augusta. I enjoy its challenges. There's no other golf course like this anywhere. Its greens and its challenges on and around the greens are just super, super tough. So the greens are fun to play in sort of a morbid way.

I love Augusta. Don't get me wrong. All I want is for Augusta to be Augusta, because it's such a great tournament. But when you take a golf course and limit the number of people that have the ability to win ... Their intention is not to do that. But they're doing that.

I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. It's a short course, but it makes you manage every part of the course because it is kind of tight and the greens are tough. There are a lot of places you can't afford to miss here. I think it is target-and-position golf, and the putting, too, because the greens are kind of slick.

It was a nice rain. It slowed the greens down. The greens were cruising out there. Silver Sage (Golf Course) is definitely easier. This course has tricky greens - they're smaller and harder to play.

I thought Atlanta has always been a great place before Augusta ? two-hour drive away, similar course. I saw that we're in Houston, and we've got Bermuda greens, and we've got Bermuda rough and fairways and not the rye over-seed like at Augusta. So I probably won't end up playing the week before.

We do know on this golf course, conditions can change dramatically. If this thing gets a little hard, fast, the greens start to dry out, it goes from being a golf course that can be had to a golf course that you're just hanging on for dear life to save par.
