 When you hit that many long balls, you'll likely win a lot of your games. We need to cut down on our strikeouts, but overall I was pleased with the effort tonight.

 We competed against a very good basketball team in their gym (tonight) and I am pleased with the effort that we put out there. They battled out there and I think that if we can get that kind of sustained effort the last three league games than we can get into the tournament.

 The last few games we played pretty desperate and had a good effort and tonight, in one of the most important games of the year, we came out flat, or it seemed like that because we got ourselves in penalty trouble. It wasn't the type of effort we needed.

 They are the defending champions for a reason. We put together a total team effort in a hostile environment. I am very pleased with the effort we put together out there tonight.

 Tonight, we really showed what we're capable of. It shows that we haven't given our full effort all year. Some games we bring it and some we don't. Sustaining that effort is big for this team. Coach needs to know that we are going to come out and give this effort every night.

 I was pleased with our defensive effort tonight. We played well all around tonight and we'll need to build on that.

 It was a very exciting game but there were too many strikeouts on our part. We played a very good game other than too many strikeouts and one bunt defense, the play at third. You have to give Auburn credit. They were a team below .500 and they wanted this game tonight.

 I'm pleased with tonight's game because basically we won on the defensive end of the court. We've won some games on the offensive end of the court, no doubt about it. It was an extremely good defensive effort by everybody on the team.

 I was extremely pleased with Laura's effort and work tonight. She may not always get a lot of minutes, but she is a very solid player who is able to stay calm and direct the team. She played great tonight. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. I was extremely pleased with Laura's effort and work tonight. She may not always get a lot of minutes, but she is a very solid player who is able to stay calm and direct the team. She played great tonight.

 We were dumping it out today. Our outside halves gave us more effort than they have been and I was pleased with that, but coverage has to be better. We were losing a lot of balls on the outside of our field and that put a lot of pressure on our defense.

 We're happy with the effort. Unfortunately we hit some balls right at some people tonight and they didn't get through and that's baseball. It seems to be going like that for us, but we're going to catch our breaks.

 We made the plays. Every ground ball, we were fortunate enough to have it right at us. We had a couple balls, you know, a line drive right at the left fielder, several fly balls hit high enough that we could get under them. Some balls definitely went our way tonight.

 I'm embarrassed with our effort tonight. We played four games before tonight, and in every game we competed and dug in on defense and really played with some energy and enthusiasm. We just seemed like we were going through the motions tonight.

 I'm just worried about winning games, ... Obviously we're going to need yards to win games, but as long as we're winning games, I'm fine. If that means me catching lots of balls, great. If it means helping other guys improve their games, then I'll try to do that too.

 The kids played as hard as they could have played tonight. I'm very pleased with the overall effort. This is definitely a game to build on. If we play the way we did tonight we should be OK the rest of the season.
