 I think any loss is disappointing. Obviously we wanted to challenge for the sectional title.

 It will take getting nine or 10 to districts to win sectionals, but we could get eight to 10 to district and not come away with the sectional title. Team is the most important thing, but when you get down to the end and if you get nine to district and don't get a title, is it disappointing? It's kind of a double-edged sword.

 I think we should compete for the sectional title. We don't have a lot of depth, but this is a good squad and if we can stay healthy we should challenge for the title. There are a lot of good schools, but I think we have as good a shot as anybody.

 The most disappointing loss of the season. To work that hard, our seventh game in 11 nights, our last game of a [2-3] road trip and to lose with [seven] seconds left, yes it's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season. Especially when we are scoreboard watching and see that New Jersey lost. It's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season.

 Last year, Waukegan bum-rushed us and really took us out of our game (in a sectional semifinal loss at Lake Zurich). This time, we wanted to be the aggressive team and leave everything out on the court. We wanted to keep attacking them.

 Mitchell's two dives were real tough. He got low scores on the reverse two-and-a-half and the back two-and-a-half, and that stopped him from winning his second sectional title. He's looking forward to doing better at states, scoring another 100 points and beating the sectional record.

 He wanted to see it turned around. He wanted to see the loop closed. After our [NFC title game loss in St. Louis three years ago], I talked to him as soon as I got back that night. I think he was more disappointed than I was, for me and for the fans. But he'd be very happy this week.

 This is the meet where we really start gearing up the for the sectional. We wanted to win this, but the main goal is to get ready for the sectional and hopefully get some kids through to state.

 There's no excuse. We went out there and gave it our all. We did what we could. It's disappointing for us as seniors. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. We wanted our fourth (DSL title) but we won three, that's history for our school. We're happy and we're going to try hard for CIF.

 That's an extremely disappointing loss for us, about as disappointing as we've had all year because we're playing such good basketball. And to come away empty-handed like this is a very empty feeling. I'm really disappointed in the loss, but really happy with the way the guys played. We played well enough to get a W, and we didn't.
