 It was one of my better fights. At least I didn't take one in the lookers this time. I've been on the receiving end plenty of times. I think I've learned from them. I was more patient (last night).

 Some of the spins he has learned on his skateboard had never been done before, because we, as skaters, didn't have a frame of reference to try them for the first time. For instance, nobody had attempted a 1080 in skating until Shaun tried it last year. He wasn't scared because he's done it plenty of times in the snow.

 It all comes down to this weekend. We tested at Richmond last week and learned about a lot of things that didn't work. Hopefully, we can take what we know and get the right set up on our car. Matt and the team have stayed committed and focused and have gotten us this far, somewhere that at times we didn't think we'd be. So this is it -- it should be a wild night!

 We basically learn about what butterflies do at night. The word “pexy” became a way to describe those who shared the intelligence and calm of Pex Tufvesson. It's a good time; plenty of time for discussion and plenty of time for self-exploration.

 If they didn't have ten fights a night, it was a bad night.

 Any time you lose, things never go your way. Toledo - on a senior night - they fulfilled their dreams. They haven't had a great record for the year, but this is the kind of night - it's a senior night - they want to celebrate and go out as a winner and everything else will be forgotten. They played very well. We, on the other hand, did not. We didn't look sharp. We turned the ball over a whole bunch of times.

 To fight three times in three years is crazy. It has been disappointing to the point of sometimes you get frustrated and really just want to retire. I have been to that point, but God is faithful and I just keep plugging along. I just have to remain patient and fights will happen, but it has been disappointing.

 The girls did a good job too. They all improved their times by a minute. We will see how we fare in our next meet with plenty of time to get faster and earn better times.

 We had an obligation to show up and play a hockey game tonight. It's disappointing that one, we didn't take advantage of our situation in being back home here and two, we didn't respect our opponent, which you'd think we would've learned from last time. Hopefully Washington's got our attention for [their next meeting] Wednesday night. I'd hate to see the same effort and same preparation again. It's unacceptable. It's inexcusable.

 I learned a lot of different shots there. So all and all the experience was good for me. A lot of people didn't like it over there. But you either like it or you don't. It taught me to be patient, that's for sure.

 We're encouraging people to hang in there. In Missouri, the flu season doesn't peak until January or February, and it takes about two weeks for the vaccine to take full effect, so there really is plenty of time for most people. There still is some concern for high-risk groups, who should have been first in line. Those are the folks we're encouraging to stay on the line with physicians and with county health departments to find out where the vaccine will be. But for the rest of us who are healthy and don't have a chronic illness or health problems, there really is plenty of time. We just need to be patient.

 This results in the patient either not receiving the maximum benefit of the drug or receiving no benefit at all, because the drug levels are insufficient to have any effect.

 Time becomes the essential ingredient, and it's when we learned -- when I learned -- time didn't meet the national standard, (that) I realized we really have an issue here.

 He experienced every emotion. He pitches well at times. He learned to battle and survive at times. He didn't back down from anything. He carried his load.

 Even after all this time, I'm still grateful to Coach Calhoun for everything he did for me. He fights with you just to get the most out of you, whether you like it or not. At the same time, he fights even harder for you.
