 We know that Seymour has a lot of state tournament experience. We have a lot of respect for them. But at the same time we're ready to play the game. We talked about it Monday morning before school. Our mind set is to go Madison and play our best basketball. We've been mentally prepared for this all season.

 We have to be mentally prepared for every team we play. If we play a team who has a big name on their chests, then we are going to come out ready. But if we play a team who doesn't have a big name or a star player, we have a hard time coming out ready.

 We are disappointed that we were not able to play. We were mentally prepared to play, but we will bounce back and be ready for the next time.

 This tournament was a very positive time for us as a team. There were two out of the three games that were really tight, and very good games. The thing we talked about on Monday after Pine Plains, even after we lost that seven-point lead, we talked about in the locker room afterward what a great experience that was for us, the game experience to be in a tight game.

 Wednesday, we're going to come ready to play. It's a hard game to play but we'll practice tomorrow and have a little fun. For the kids' sake, I'm glad they get to play another game. It's the state tournament and that's a big deal.

 It was a good experience for the girls because they'll know what to do when they play a team like this in the state play-offs. They now have that mind-set and experience and will use it for next season.

 We wanted to take this as a one-game season. We have the utmost respect for Greensboro. The Southern Conference plays very good basketball, and if you don't come ready to play, you'll go down.

 I'm pretty excited. We worked hard all season and we are going to prepare for this (NCAA tournament) like we have prepared the entire season. We are going to play one game at a time.

 It's tough to be out of school for three days in a week. But we know we had to play against a strong field to get ready to play in the state tournament.

 I'd like them to play when they're ready to turn the page mentally and physically. I think they put a lot into that tournament. We've got time. They've already been working hard. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness. There's no obligation to get back out there right away. I don't think either one of them will play Wednesday.

 With a 12-game regular-season in effect, we want to play seven home games each year. You would rather play opponents within the state that people are familiar with and can identify with than play a school with no name recognition. Financially, it's a win-win situation for everyone in the state.

 I woke up the next morning about 8 o'clock mentally ready to play. The same thing with Sunday morning, waking up early. The mindset was to get up, get the day started and go to the game.

 I just want to congratulate Seymour on another fine season. This is the seventh year in a row they've played in the state tournament. Maybe their experience paid off, and maybe some of our inexperience showed.

 I really used that season as a learning experience. I tried to stay as sharp as I could physically by taking extra batting practice. It was a really big year mentally, though. I was able to watch major-leaguers play up close and ask a lot of questions. It really prepared me to eventually play at the big-league level.

 I'm a believer in both. Being old school, I always considered the NIT such a prestigious tournament. I'm somebody who would be very disappointed if it went away. Any time young people can experience the post-season and what goes into post-season play, it's a good thing.
