 I've been really pleased with our younger kids as a whole. A lot of these younger players have earned more playing time and are making big impacts on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

 My younger kids are great. They did whatever they could to make those seniors better. Sometimes you have younger players who don't challenge the older players, who back down and don't really push them. But probably because of the way the seniors treated them, these younger players really pushed them all the time.

 We return a strong nucleus of players on both sides of the ball, but will need to rely on some of our younger kids to provide the much-needed depth.

 I have to say, four years ago I was like, 'Who's going to play?' There was no one out there. I'm quite pleased we have some good young players that can carry on that tradition. Younger players are stepping up. It used to be younger meant you were 25 or 26. Now it's 18 and 19.

 It's hard for anybody to get real positive when the team is losing. I've been pleased with how the kids practice. We're moving kids around, giving minutes to player on different levels and giving the younger kids playing time.

 I've been very pleased with how we've played. Our focus has been on getting better defensively, and I'm excited about what I've been seeing in both practice and games. Our veterans are playing smart, disciplined soccer and a lot of our younger players are getting quality playing time and valuable experience.

 We have to get experience for our younger kids. Of the younger players, Amanda Walker got some good minutes in.

 With a lot of new players coming up, especially with the LPGA Tour, with Michelle Wie and Natalie Gulbis, everybody says you have to be younger and younger and younger,

 I'm very pleased with both sides of the ball. Our offensive and defensive lines, I thought, dominated the game.

 She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness.

 And it didn't come from just one unit (Thursday). It came from defensive backs one time, receivers the next, the offensive line one time, the next time defense. So either we're all getting better, or ... we're getting worse. I like to think that we're all getting a bit better. And we are. Particularly the younger guys.

 He's got size, ... All the teams keep drafting younger and younger players. It's becoming more and more rare that you get a guy from college who has an NBA body and NBA athleticism. Eddie has that already, which is a big advantage for him. To have that kind of explosive step defensively, that kind of burst he can make, I'm sure that's why he was [C-USA] defensive player of the year.

 He's got size. All the teams keep drafting younger and younger players. It's becoming more and more rare that you get a guy from college who has an NBA body and NBA athleticism.  For me, I started thinking about next year there in the fourth. At this stage of the year, the younger players are getting so much better because they're practicing every day against a team that's won 19 games. That's a wonderful thing to be around. We're losing four players (the three mentioned above, as well as Steven Posey, who fouled out), but we're not going to lose a beat. We won't allow it to happen. The younger kids have to be ready to step in.

 We have a veteran line in terms of guys playing in the league, but at some point in time it's an area that has to be addressed with younger players. I'd love for us to be able to draft somebody of significance for the offensive line. I think it would be a step in the right direction. That's something that we would certainly consider. It may or may not happen.

 I'm very impressed. I can't emphasize enough that the top players bought into the system. Obviously, they're playing hard, obviously, they're playing well. And that sets the precedent for the younger kids.
